About

Mackenzie Seymour, RMT

Graduate of Georgian College, registrant of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, and member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario. I employ modern Swedish massage techniques to an evidence-based treatment format.

This test and re-test format allows me to determine the underlying source of your pain or discomfort through a range of quick orthopedic assessments. This method grants you, the client, the freedom of understanding your unique condition and how to eliminate or control problematic aspects of your physical health.

After 5 years of applied clinical experience, I'm excited to work with you and am confident I can set you on the path of well-being you choose.

Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is a profession that has been practiced for centuries in many countries and cultures. Today in Ontario, it is a regulated health profession. This means that when you deal with a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) you can be sure that they have a minimum education of an Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy, and have passed two provincial competency exams to achieve their registration.

At the beginning of their practice all RMTs are proficient in modern Swedish massage techniques. This method focuses on the systematic use of hands-on manipulation of the muscles, connective tissues, ligaments, and joints, through an understanding of modern anatomy and physiology.

College of Massage Therapy

The College of Massage Therapist's of Ontario is the regulatory body under the Ontario Ministry of Health charged with protecting the public and ensuring that Massage Therapists are held to a high standard of competency.
